This is part of a sermon I preached. I hope it brings you blessings! When we are broken, we always want a solution and that's okay! However, most of the solutions that we think of or are given to us cause more problems and brokenness. Therefore, one must look at the Remedy of Brokenness from God's angle, which is: 1. There must be a Relationship with God 2. There must be a Reliance on God 3. There must be a Realization that: a. God Cares; b. God is in Control; c. God Can. Although not a BONE of our Lord was broken, when the Lord was crucified and bore our sins in His body, the Bible describes His body as being broken. Our Lord was broken, but through His brokenness, the greatest blessing of them all - SALVATION, was made availabe for you and me.

i feared being alone, until learned to like myself.ifeared failure, untili realized that i only fail when i dont. i feared success, until i realized that ihad to try in order to be happy. ifeared people's opinions, until ilearned that poeple would have opinions about me anyway. i feared rejection ,until ilearned to have faith in myself.ifeared pain,until i learned that is necessary for growth. i feared the truth until i saw ugliness in lies.i feared life, until i experience it's beauty. ifeared death until irealized that it'snot the end but a beginning i feared my destiny until i realizedthat ihad the power to change life,ifeared hate.until isaw thatit was nothing more than ignorance. ifeared love , until it toched my heart making the darkness fade into endless sunny days.i feared ridicule,until i learned how to laugh at myself. ifeared growing old, until irealized that i gain wisdom everyday ifeared the future,until i realized that life just kept getting better. ifeared the past,util irealized that it could no longer hurt me.ifeared the dark,until isaw the beautyof starlight.ifeared the light ,until i learned that the truth would give strenght.i feared change,until isaw that even the most beautiful butterfly had to go under a metamorphosis before it could fly

To make a difference, you often must be different. It takes courage and confidence to go against the grain of negativity that surrounds you, and such courage can bring great rewards. Where others see only doom and gloom, look for the bright glimmer of opportunity. For it is most certainly there. When everyone is looking for someone to blame for what has already happened, turn your focus toward the future. Exploring the current possibilities will create infinitely more value than arguing over past failures. When you encounter rudeness and irritation, generously offer your own polite and confident patience. When you bump up against the arrogance of another person, melt it away with your own sincere, self-assured humility. Just because everyone is heading in a negative direction doesn't mean you must go that way too. On the contrary, it's a valuable opportunity for you to set a positive example. In times of great difficulty and stress, choose to be a beacon of encouragement, understanding and positive purpose. Be different, and you can truly make a valuable positive difference.

To someone who is beautiful ... all over it is absolutely wonderful to have someone in your life who is caring and giving and gracious- someone whose smiles are like sunshine and laughter and whose words always seems to say the things you most like to hear... because those magical people are really beautiful.. inside. and it is a special privilege to know someone whose outward appearance is a delight just to see- someone who light up a room with radiance and who light up my little corner of the world with a loveliness it has never known before... because special people like that are really beautiful... outside... but most of all, it is one of the world's most special blessings to have a person in your life who can add so much pleasure and such magnificence to the days- as you have to mine... because you're someone who is beautiful..... all over...

To my sisters in the Lord... There comes a time in every woman's life when she has to take a close look at herself. Not at her circumstance, not at what she did, not how unfair life is, or at who made you do it. She has to just look at herself in all her glory and imperfection. Have you ever admired a woman who has been through changes in her life? Or have you made up in your mind that she is just messed up. Before you make this mistake, take a closer look. A woman who has endured the most unusual life is someone of wisdom, someone who has been chosen by God to go through things that have made her stronger. Think of all the great women in the Bible: Mary Magdalene, Ruth and Naomi, the woman with an issue of blood, and Esther, to name a few. Mary was a prostitute, a very uneasy woman. But by the time Jesus was done with her, she was His closest follower. Esther was unfortunate in marrying an abusive man, but by the time God was done with her, she had married one of the wealthiest men in the land. Women are so quick to beat the next one down instead of trying to hold her up. Before you wonder, 'What's up with her?' ask yourself, 'What's up with me?' That woman could be my mother, sister, aunt, in-law, stepmother, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, friend, or co-worker, etc. That woman could be ME. Women are the carriers of life, not the channels of death. Let's build and encourage each other, as did Ruth and Naomi. Pass this to all the women in your life. Encourage and love, forgive and forget, and trust that the woman that receives this will be touched in some way. May the peace and love of Christ be upon you!

Life Is A Gift Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren. Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one maker. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around. Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, And fulfill it.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless

PROMISE YOURSELF Promise yourself to be strong so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity To every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To for get the mistakes of the pass and press On to the greater achievements of the future To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger Too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

'Twas the night Jesus came and all through the house, not a person was praying, not one in the house.. The Bible was left on the shelf without care, for no one thought Jesus would come there.. The children were dressing to crawl into bed, not once ever kneeling or bowing their head.. And Mom in the rocking chair with babe on her lap, was watching the Late Show as I took a nap.. When out of the east there rose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.. Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and lifted the sash.. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but Angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.. The light of His face made me cover my head... was Jesus returning just like He'd said.. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.. In the Book of Life which he held in his hand, was written the name of every saved man.. He spoke not a word as he searched for my name, when He said "it's not here" My head hung in shame.. The people whose names had been written with love, He gathered to take to his Father above.. With those who were ready He rose without sound, while all of the others were left standing around... I fell to my knees but it was too late, I'd waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight, Oh, if only I'd know that this was the night.... In the words of this poem the meaning is clear the coming of Jesus is now drawing near... There's only one life and when comes the last call, We'll find out that the Bible was true after all... B asic I nstruction B efore L eaving earth

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. Love is hugging. Love is kissing. Love is saying no. When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared he won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only does he still love you, he loves you even more. Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday. You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings When someone loves you, the way he says your name is different. You know that your name is safe in his mouth." Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."

When a stone is dropped into a lake it quickly disappears from sight but its impact leaves behind a series of ripples that broaden ans reach across the water. In the same way,the impact of one life lived for Christ will leave behind an influence for good that will reach the lives of many others.

Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear. Don't cry over anyone who won't cry over you. Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget. Life is a journey, Cherish it, enjoy it and use it wisely. Its filled with many choices so choose wisely. To be successfull you have to move out of your comfort zone, and challenge life head on. Never be afraid of the challenges, just figure out your next move and take things one day at a time. In the end you will be happy that you face your fears. In life you have to remember God and your family along with your friends because we all need each other, so friends walk in love and give God thanks for life.

One morning you will never wake up, do all your friends know you love them? I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said. Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.
